Parenting children with neurobehavioral conditions can feel isolating. But it doesn't have to be. The Th!nk Brain Inner Circle is a safe space membership community of parents just like you, parenting children with brain-based differences. It is designed to help families move from traditional parenting practices to approaching behavioral challenges through a brain-based perspective. The Th!nk Brain Inner Circle is a place to transform your hardship into hope. In this community, you will move from feeling alone and helpless in your journey to feeling included, encouraged, and hopeful.
and you are trying hard every day to make it through and be the "best" parent you can be. But it's hard and nothing you have tried is working. You keep trying harder and things seem to get worse.
from trying to balance your child's behaviors and your feelings of being a "failure" as a parent. You feel alone and isolated from everyone else whose kids are "well-behaved" and no one seems to understand YOU. Your parent experience leaves you feeling invisible and sitting in silence with your emotions.
a community that gets YOU. You need a safe space to share, continue to learn about your child's needs, and be encouraged to try differently. You desire a community you can trust to be authentic and transparent about what you, as the parent, are going through. You need to feel seen and have your voice heard.and effective support at every stage of a child's development.
It starts with a focus on the neurobehavioral approach, what it is, how it works, and how to apply it to our child. Through a collection of recorded lessons, live monthly webinars on specific topics, and group meet-ups with other members, you will understand the neurobehavioral approach, and how it can help your child.
Next, this community focuses on you, the parent. It recognizes that although the neurobehavioral model works, we are human with personal challenges that may make it difficult for us to change. This is the part where we learn to trust the process...together.
It is the most important part of the framework, as we recognize the challenge of continuing this journey without constant support and encouragement. This part will focus on the parent experience so that each of us can understand ourselves deeper, and what drives us to parent the way we do. We will focus on why we, as parents, resist change, our emotional struggles, and how to press on when things are hard. We will find hope in the process, and begin to see a better future for us and our children.
A community facilitated by an expert in the neurobehavioral model who is also a parent of multiple children with neurobehavioral challenges.
A community rooted in the Th!nk Brain Framework and NB approach, where individualized accommodations can be developed and applied.
A place with a clear focus and purpose, educational topics, and live meetings with the facilitator and other community members every week.
A place where participants will understand their child better from a Th!nk Brain perspective, and have the support they need to put the approach into everyday life.
A community where participants will meet others who share the same daily challenges, and who are applying the Th!nk Brain framework
A community where participants will receive support, encouragement, inspiration, and relief.
A safe place where participants can be authentic and transparent with their true selves and feelings, without fear of judgment.
This community is truly special because it acknowledges not only your child and their needs, but also...YOU, the parent. You matter, your feelings matter, and your experience in parenting someone with challenging behavioral symptoms, matters. Here, you will be seen.
A typical online meetup. This special community is facilitated with focus and intention by a facilitator with expertise in brain-based disabilities, and the neurobehavioral approach, and also has lived experience as a parent of multiple children with substantial neurobehavioral challenges.
A one-size-fits-all solution for neurobehavioral challenges. It is not about "fixing" you or your child or "getting your child" to be compliant.
It is not a place to discuss medication interventions that may help in "fixing" your child. Although medications can be helpful for some, this is not the focus of this group.
It is not a constant spewing of facts and information about neurobehavioral conditions. Although there will be moments like this, as it is an essential piece of the Th!nk Brain framework, it is not the only focus.
Although it is a place to be authentic and transparent, It is not a place to complain or pass judgment on other parenting styles or approaches, systemic barriers, or education. We exist to support and encourage others along their neurobehavioral parenting journey, no matter where they may be in the process.
